A SPECIAL DAY!

Sunday, February 24, 2013 - what a special day!  Josh spoke in sacrament meeting and gave a very powerful and inspirational talk on the Atonement.  Comments included: “He sounded more like a returned missionary than a missionary just departing;” “He even made my Dad cry;” and, our favorite from cousin Brent, “Josh sounded like he was speaking in General Conference.”  His talk was followed by a beautiful musical number “A Poor Wayfaring Man of Grief” with Josh’s brother Daniel on the cello and cousin Lori on the piano.  It was amazing and very moving.  Daniel, who is a welder, was told how astounding it was to see his “industrial hands playing so gracefully and beautifully.”

Following the meeting, we gathered at our home for a luncheon and visiting.  We were overwhelmed by the love and support shown.  What wonderful family and friends we have!  Thank you all for your love, kindness and generosity.  A special thank you to all who helped with the luncheon and with crowd control.  We are so blessed!
